Ofsted Reported in 2008:
Parkfield Primary is a satisfactory school. The school is supported by the overwhelming majority of its parents, many of whom speak highly of the headteacher and staff. One commented, 'My daughter likes school very much. She really does enjoy every day at school. She feels safe and loves her teacher'. Personal development is strength of the school. It works hard to ensure that its pupils feel happy, well cared for and safe. A comprehensive induction for pupils new to the school, and often new to the country, is effective in helping them to settle quickly. Pupils feel confident, listened to and valued. The 'Chatterbox' system allows them to let the headteacher and the school council know about their concerns as well as their ideas for improving the school. Most pupils demonstrate very positive attitudes to learning and are keen to do well. Pupils' behaviour is satisfactory. Most behave well in lessons and at play.
