Latest Ofsted report (external)
Middle Row Primary School is located in the borough of Kensington and Chelsea, London. The school is a mixed, local authority maintained, community school that take children from 3 to 11 years of age. There is a nursery provision from 3 to 5 and there is a after school play centre for the older children after school.
Ofsted reported in 2009 that this school was GOOD:
"The school has revisited its core values and has embarked on a programme of developments to improve the quality of education. One parent wrote, 'there seems to be a new enthusiasm about the school'. The leadership team is reflective and they work strongly together to drive improvement and raise standards. Pupils achieve well. When children enter school, they have skills that are well below those expected for their age but they make good progress so that by the time they reach the end of Year 6, their standards in English, mathematics and science are broadly average. A few families do not send their children to school regularly and this restricts the progress these pupils make."
