Sir William Borlase's Grammar School is a selective co-educational 11-18 school for around one thousand students, of which approximately 350 are in the Sixth Form.
Borlase was founded in 1624 and is still on its original site, close to the centre of Marlow. The school is in the voluntary control of Buckinghamshire County Council and administered by a board of trustees and a board of governors.
The school has specialist status in the Performing Arts as well as an excellent academic record, placing well on a variety of national league tables. Courses in Dance, Drama, Music and Music Technology are supported by a new theatre and dance studio and extensive computer facilities and an excellent team of committed and experienced staff.
