Christ Church School (Redhill Street), Camden
Christ Church School is a primary school located in the Borough of Camden, North London. It is a mixed voluntary aided school.
Ofsted reported in 2009.
"Christ Church is a good school, which successfully blends its Christian values with those of its multicultural, multi-faith community to achieve its aim of 'caring for each other and learning together'. Pupils thoroughly enjoy being at Christ Church; both they and their parents were keen to tell inspectors how good they think the school is, with 'fun' being a word frequently used to describe their experience!"
In 1837, Christ Church School was built adjacent to Christ Church parish Church, on the site of what is now the church parish room and part of the playground. The Trust Deed stated that it was to be a National School for the parish of St. Pancras to be united to the National Society. It was created for the education of poor children in the principles of the Church of England. Christ Church is run as a Voluntary Aided Church of England School and supported by the London Diocesan Board for Schools and Camden Local Education Authority. As a Church of England School, it teaches the Christian faith and respect all world faiths.
