Is a special partnership between Government and private investment benefiting from a stunning ?37m building which opened in September 2005 designed by world famous architects Foster and Partners. The Academy Sponsor is Alec Reed, founder of the Reed recruitment and training group.

Academy is to provide high quality education across the full age
and ability range, covering the national
curriculum with an added focus on the Academy's specialisms of Sport and Enterprise and with a vocational

the curriculum of the High School.
