Enfield County School (Upper) (Girls) was opened as a girls' comprehensive in 1967 following the amalgamation of two well established girls' schools, each with a long tradition of high academic achievement, a commitment to effective teaching and encouraging positive attitudes and an expectation of good standards of work and behaviour.
