"Pupils know their learning targets and are fully involved in checking their own progress. Target setting and the tracking of pupils' progress are exceptionally effective in English and mathematics and very good for assessing the progress made by pupils learning English as an additional language. Science assessments are in the process of being developed, as leaders are ambitious to help more pupils gain the high Level 5 in national tests."
