Bushey Hall School is a comprehensive co-educational school with inclusion at its heart. We foster a caring environment where students can achieve their best. It is a secure and well-ordered learning environment where traditional values are still important.
It is important that students use their time at school well to gain the qualifications that they will need to give them choice and control over their lives. It is also important that they have a well-developed sense of the impact of humanity on the world and how they can contribute as citizens in a technological age.
Pupils who try their best and are considerate towards other people will always be happy and successful at this school. Everyone is valued, and there will be many opportunities for them to gain new experiences and contribute to the school’s growth and development. Problems are dealt with, if they arise, with professionalism and care.
I myself joined the school as its new headteacher in September 2007 and I look forward to getting to know many more members of the school community in the months and years ahead.
Graham Yapp, Headteacher
