Is a small, community
school opened in 1905, situated in a pleasant, residential area close to the Camden, Islington border and with
good bus, train and tube services.
In September 2000, when the school was being rebuilt, we recruited
just 71 students in Year 7. Two years later we were fully subscribed with 180 students in the new Year 7. By
2003 we were oversubscribed and now have a waiting list for places.
The school enjoys very strong
relationships with partner primary schools and the local City and Islington College, also with
Arsenal Football club who have a Study Support Suite in school.
From September
2002 the school opened a new chapter in its hundred-year history and began to admit girls as well as boys and is
now a fully co-ed school.
Holloway School has made huge advances over very recent years and has opened
new facilities for Science, ICT, Design and Technology and Music.
We are currently in the process of building the new Bridge School on the campus which will also include new sports facilities of:

Holloway School is in stage one of Islington?s Building Schools for the Future (BSF) which means we will be one of the first schools in the ?128m project of developing schools in the area.
