The aim of Holland Park School is to engender an atmosphere in which a young person feels safe and valued. In that environment we want everyone to be committed to learning, to study and to achieving their potential. We are committed to building a strong learning culture.

The school believes in the individual and his or her talents. It celebrates people's uniqueness. The school believes that to fulfil potential there needs to be effort and industry. Teachers are chosen for their commitment as well as their qualifications. The school makes students aware of their individual responsibility for learning.

The school believes that students need recognition and praise at all levels and in all kinds of ways. We have merits, commendations, certificates, letters and all kinds of positive feedback. We seek to create a school in which public recognition is desired. All students have the opportunity to apply for a Good Citizen Card. Students awarded this card demonstrate on a daily basis their commitment to learning and success, as well as contributing in all they do to the positive reputation of the school.

Each year we hold an event called 'Perfect Tense', to celebrate outstanding attitude, achievement and contribution to the life of the school.

The school groups students to maximise potential. It has a curriculum designed to meet individual needs. Students whose first language is other than English are specially catered for. Refugees from around the world enrich the school community. The school also runs a special programme for the Gifted and Talented.

The school meets parents often. There are occasions where parents, students and teachers plan for success by setting clear targets. Many of these targets are communicated through purpose-designed student and parent planners.

We all know how important it is to get good GSCE's and A level's and sometimes your children need "one on one" or group tutoring to achieve it. We have tutors that cover London and the South east of England from our pool of qualified and security checked teachers.
