Meopham School is an 11 - 18, co-educational Foundation High School situated on a large, open, community campus in a rural position within North West Kent, shared with a Medical Centre, Day Nursery, Public Library, Leisure Centre and recycling facilities, giving the school the characteristics of an Extended School. The student population is a good mix of people from the nearby and more outlying areas, of varied social statuses and all abilities, making Meopham School as nearly comprehensive as is possible in an area within the Kent Scheme for selection. With over 26 acres of land, the school is viewed as a natural centre for sporting activities and the LEA has placed Meopham School at the centre of its strategy for sports development in Gravesham, both as a Specialist Sports College and as a hub school for the School Sports Partnership.
