Globe Academy is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational academy for children aged 3 to 18 years. The academy is located on Harper Road on the old Geoffrey Chaucer Technology College and Joseph Lancaster Primary School sites.

Globe Academy opened in September 2008 offering new and unique opportunities for education in Southwark. The academy has specialist status in mathematics and performing arts.

The Academy curriculum is organised to ensure that each pupil reaches or exceeds expected levels in English and mathematics as quickly as possible, before moving on to the breadth of the full curriculum. Those who need more support benefit from focusing on core skills. For gifted and talented pupils an accelerated learning programme is offered.
