An amazing Art teacher is required at a good school in Brent for a September start

A long standing excellent client school in Brent is looking for a part-time Art teacher to join the already successful and energetic team.
This is a school that has rapidly stepped up the pace of improvements, which has brought about an impressive increase in GCSE results. The proportion of students are on course to achieve five or more GCSE grades A* to C, including English and Maths. Ofsted reported that, “Leaders and managers know what is required to improve the quality of teaching, and the pace to improve the proportion of good or better teaching is now beginning to accelerate.”

The school actively encourages input from teaching staff and the Art department is well supported by an excellent head of department.
The successful candidate will have:

  • A post-graduate Qualified Teacher Status qualification, e.g. PGCE
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Outstanding teaching practice
  • Experience teaching at a secondary level
  • Genuine enthusiasm for the subject
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • A commitment to working as part of this close, supportive team
  • The ability to motivate and inspire
  • A desire to be involved in the wider community of the school
  • The drive to teach in a great school full of keen students and to build on existing success
