Physics teacher needed at good academy in Surrey to teach GCSE and ideally A level
This is a larger than average, mixed, 11-18 school which converted to academy status last year and has since seen rapid and continuing improvement in attainment. Last summer, the school was thrilled with the performance of their GCSE and A level students, who received record breaking results, significantly above the national average in some subjects.
The school sets high standards in terms of appearance and behaviour and has high expectations for all students. Visitors often comment on the calm, purposeful and happy atmosphere around the school. At its latest inspection, Ofsted reported that, “The behaviour of students around the school and in lessons is good. Students are polite and courteous to one another, to staff and to visitors. In lessons students have very good, and sometimes exemplary, attitudes towards learning.”
