A teacher of Science is required for next term at this large, improving school in NE London.

This is a larger than average secondary school with performing arts status.  It is an 11-18 comprehensive school with strong traditions rooted in the local community. The school is proud of its committed staff, students who want to learn and supportive parents.

At its latest Ofsted inspection, the behaviour of pupils was seen as “Good”, but the school overall was deemed to “require improvement”.  With this in mind, the headteacher is hoping to appoint an experienced and well-regarded teacher of Science who can help raise overall standards.

The school is looking for a teacher of Science who is:

• Eligible to work in the UK with at least one year’s experience teaching Science at a UK school
• A hardworking and committed teacher of Science
• Experienced and adept at behaviour management
• Committed to thorough lesson planning and careful assessment
• Enthusiastic and energetic with inspirational, creative approaches to teaching Science
