Hard HOD Science required from January

A moderately sized, comprehensive Church of England school located in South / Central London is seeking a HOD of Science to start in February.

This post was originally advertised to start in January but despite competition being hot for roles in schools like this, the school has not found the right person yet and will cover it internally until they do.

The teacher should have 2ic experience or at least 3 years of science teaching experience and bags of strength and confidence. Considerable classroom management skills should have been developed by the applicant – as this school services an area of considerable social deprivation.

The appointment would be permanent and considerable retainment pay in excess of normal levels would be offered.
